I few out to Switzerland on Wednesday morning from Dublin. Having a coffee in Butler's, I noticed a rather distinctive character sitting nearby! We got talking and it turns out Nigel 'Elvis' Kingsley lives in Switzerland and we were travelling on the same flight. We flew into Zurich in sunshine but that didn't last long! It rained for most of my stay in Switzerland - but it was beautifully green and smelled of summer! I played a few nights in the Porter House in Uster, with loads of familiar and new faces. Thanks to Petra, Martin, Barbara, Jan, Ramon, Claire, Monika, Nigel and Monika, Sal, Laura and Janet!! On Friday I visited a studio where a friend works and there's talk of a return visit later this year for some recording! Stay tuned! The last gig was in the Molly Malone, where i returned to Peach's lovely bar for a perfect end to the tour! A great listening gig, and generous audience - I couldn't have asked for more! Thanks to my friends who came to see me there - Lisa and Julia, Sal, Suzan and Thomas, Rahel and Andy, Jan. Huge thanks to Caroline and Ramon for having me back to play!
