Mark, Nicole and I head off to Switzerland next week for some 'Songs from Ireland' dates!
Nicole and I have a double header gig in Zurich on the 10th December in Cafe Gothard and again in Ark Music shop on Tuesday 15th!
Thanks to the amazing Rachel Gregan for putting this video together from the launch night!
Was delighted to be asked to join the The 4of Us at ClubBeo on Friday night in Donegal. There were some amazing musicians playing - George Hutton, Eve Belle, Jacqui Sterling Murray and Shaz Tay.
On Friday night I went to a talk with the extremely interesting Michael Eavis, founder and CEO of Glastonbury. We heard all about how the festival started and the growth from 45 years ago until today. He spoke about his dairy farm and favourite performances.. but wouldn't talk about the upcoming artists!
I did get to give him a CD though - so watch this space!
Last week I was invited to perform at RTE Arena's outside broadcast for the launch of Winter Pages, and the Dublin Book Festival in Smock Alley Theatre. I was joined by Lorcán O'Dwyer on double bass and Steven McCann on guitar, and we performed 3 songs in the show.

A little while back I met Brad Geyer from NYC who was over performing some spoken word and looking for musicians to record for his 'Street Noise Project'. We spent the day wandering the streets of Dublin, and this is one of the videos from our day....... You can check out The Street Noise Project HERE.
It's been a busy couple of weeks!
The launch gig happened on the 30th October in the Chocolate Factory! It went better than I could have expected! There was a huge crowd there, and I was blown away by the support on the night! The amazing Dermot Kennedy opened the night, before I decided to start the gig the way I normally would, singing with my friend Mark Geary. We did a few songs, before I did a few solo numbers. I was then joined by the beautiful Nicole Maguire for a couple of songs, and then James Cramer of Tupelo joined us. I finished off the night with a full band set - joined on stage by the inimitable Graham Hopkins, superb Lorcan O'Dwyer and incredible Steven McCann. Simon Peare took some lovely shots the night of the launch gig.
I've since played in The Loft In Carlingford,Phoenix FM, Peter McVerry Trust Youth Cafe, a Private House Concert and The Ballymore Acoustic Gigs!
Stay tuned for more! :) gx
